You will not have to take your stuff anywhere if you want the ozone treatment done because the fire damage professional will be able to clean the smell from your home with an ozone generator.

In many cases, household textiles will be deodorized in what is called an ozone room. If the ozone treatment is done in your house, then the fire restoration professionals will be taking your stuff and putting it in a tent while they have the ozone generator going. The ozone treatment is known to be a very effective method used to get the smoke damage out of your items. Many professionals are known for using the ozone method. If you have clothing in your house that has went through smoke damage, then you should have them deodorized before you clean them. If you clean your clothes before you deodorize them from the smoke damage, then the smoke odor could set into the fabric and leave your clothes permanently smelling.

You should also keep in mind that the smoke damage can remain in the walls in your house. If the smoke damage is not properly removed, you will find the odor reoccurring from time to time, especially when it is damp. You should make sure the proper action is taken in order to properly remove the smoke damage from your walls. There is a process that is known as thermal fogging. Thermal fogging is known for eliminating the smoke damage from your walls and has shows to be very effective in many different cases. This process is known for opening the pores of your walls and neutralizing the smoke odor.
