After buying a car the first thing that worries you is the rust on the auto parts. So a proper care should be taken and rust should be prevented from the auto parts at any cost.

Car is one of the most valuable possessions and investment of your life. So we always want to keep the car in the good condition as much as you can. It doesn’t matter how old it is or new it is we will always try to give the car rust treatment so that we can prevent the car from getting rust.

So it is the most efficient, safe and also comfortable way of transportation. So if transportation is comfortable then automatically the travel becomes an enjoyment.

Once the car becomes old then it is inevitable that car will start giving problem. Most annoying one is rust. This rust is very destructive as this rust starts from the small part of the car body and slowly starts spreading. Later completely destroy the whole body. Rust attack the places more which are more exposed to moisture. The most favourite places of rust are body panels like the fenders, doors, tailgate and the hood. Once the part gets affected by rust it becomes weak and gets ugly look. For this reason the only option you are left with is replacement.

Then how to prevent this rust? Here are some useful tips to prevent rust from the car:

1. Always try to keep car clean and properly waxed.

2. Always be sure that the drain holes in the floor, bottoms, or frame are properly clean

3. Rinse the underside with water properly. This should be done sincerely especially in the area where the amount of the salt in the atmosphere is high

4. Even try to keep the wheels clean as much as possible from dust, dirt or leaves because dust, dirt or leaves always holds moisture.

5. Every time after wash open all the doors to drain out the water completely.

Many car manufacturers gives car rust treatment to many cars by giving a car rustproofed. This is nothing else than a treatment of waxy paste over body panels with the help of "after market" specialist. This specialist makes holes in different hidden areas and sprays the paste and guards the holes.

There is another type of rust proofing which is a silicon-based spray with the help of paint to protect it from chemicals and pollution.

If at all you can’t prevent the rust then the last option is replacement.

Various parts of the vehicles can be replaced with a new one. For example: GMC tailgate, Chevy tailgate and Ford tailgate. This tailgate can be easily replaced with the rusted one to increase the durability of the vehicle.

Next important thing that can be replaced is the hood. Hood is used to guard the engine. So it is always necessary to use a new and good hood to protect the engine. There are many other things that can be replaced like doors and other important body panel.
