  • Quran And Vedas By: Agniveer Agni - " This work is inspired by none other than Dr Zakir Naik, the head of Islamic Research Foundation. I am a fan of his convincing communication style and confidence that he displays while applauding Osama and appealing all Muslims to be a terrorist! I consider him to be a great magician, in the league of Houdini and Copperfield, and sincerely applaud his stage-performance that enthralls the semiliterate audience. His memory skills are simply superb and amply demonstrate the possibilities of memory-power surpassing analysis-power while addressing fanatics. I possess none of that awe-inspiring stage charisma or elephant memory that has motivated innumerable followers to become self-proclaimed Islamic scientists.

  • Ancient Indian Matrimonial Astrology-Significance of kundli charts and consequence of being manglik By: pritpal - Kundli is an Indian (vedic) astrological chart. It plots the positions of 9 planets across a number of houses (representing the solar system) in a graphical representation. The position of the planets is based on the exact time of one's birth. It is widely believed, and accepted, in Indian culture that from these astrological charts the characteristics and traits of a person can be identified and their fate predicted. For more details www.be-a-stargazer.com For this reason kundli charts are well used to determine whether a couple will be suitable in marriage - a process labelled 'kundli matching'. Before a marriage proposal is made kundli matching is performed to identify whether the marriage will be a good fit.

  • Symbolism of Ganesha By: Chip Tolaney - The Almighty. The Invincible One. The All-seeing. Most Gods are known by these titles. But Ganesha? Naah! Nothing so clichéd. He's The Ubiquitous One. You bump into him wherever you go in India. As a humble, saffron-colored blob under trees along national highways. At little wayside shrines near the trendiest of metro haunts. In every temple. And, of course, every puja mandir in Hindu homes. While Shiva, Vishnu and Durga in their varied avatars, are towering figures to be worshipped with respectful awe, tubby Ganesha is more approachable, a benevolent being who reigns over our day-to-day activities and creeps into our hearts. Elephant-headed and many-armed, Ganesha is a mystifying, even comic figure to the uninitiated. Why is he plump.
