Ohio Laser's Cutting Abilities Increase With New Warehouse

Today, a leading laser cutting company, Ohio Laser LLC announced that it has expanded its manufacturing facility from 19,000 to 30,000 sq ft. In the future, Ohio Laser will increase the size of its facility by 4,000 sq ft. resulting in an eventual 34,000 sq ft. footprint at its location in Plain City, Ohio.

Ohio Laser's numerous laser cutting services include cutting tubes and pipes, flat stock, as well as Value Added Fabricating services. The new building allows Ohio Laser to offer high levels of metal stock with a wide assortment of metal thicknesses. On any given day, Ohio Laser averages now over 1,000,000 pounds of various materials on hand. Since Ohio Laser has developed key vendor relationships, it's able to keep a strong inventory of the most commonly used alloys including:

Square, rectangular and round tubes through 4 inches in diameter up to inch wall thickness in stainless and carbon steel.

Low carbon, A36, HSLA (High Strength Low Alloy)

Stainless steel: 304, 304L, 316

Rectangular, round, square tubes with diameters of to 4 inches and wall thicknesses up to inch in carbon and stainless steel

Thicknesses: .002 through 1 inches

Ohio Laser's impressive laser cutting capabilities are numerous. They can cut stainless steel to 1 inch, carbon steel to 1 inch, and aluminum to 5/8 inches with their 6000 Watt Trumpf TruLaser 5040 system. They can also do laser cutting with incredibly fast axially parallel speeds of up to 7874 inches per minute with simultaneous speeds of up to 11811 inches per minute.

The Trumpf TruLaser 5040 system is also able to laser cut wider and longer parts since it can accommodate sheets up to 80" x 160" with weights as much as 3968 pounds.

The Trumpf TruLaser 5040 even features a self-loading and unloading unit that increases output by reducing production time.
