Places For Business Travelers To Stay In Sacramento

By: Kris Koonar

Sacramento is one city that is always on the move. Once a sleepy simple commuter town deserted after 5 pm, is now a vibrant city for working, living and enjoying the best life has to offer. On account of the relatively high standard of living and low accommodation prices many private industries are relocating to this city and this has resulted in a dramatic surge in population. If you do not belong to this place, but you have to visit the city as a part of your business, then you need not worry about accommodation because Sacramento has many low as well as high budget hotels. Some of the hotels where you can stay during your business trips include:

Hyatt Regency Sacramento:

This hotel is located in the central business district across from the Sacramento conventional center and state capitol. It is equal in quality to its neighboring Sheraton Grand and has meeting space of 30,000 square feet, with high-speed Internet service that is available 24x7. The hotel offers amenities like a full service business center, dual line phones and oversized desks for business guests. There are two restaurants as well that provide wholesome food.

Sheraton Grand Sacramento:

This is a downtown hotel that is one of the most popular choices of government workers and business travelers. It is located centrally across the Sacramento Conventional Center and state capitol. There are many office buildings, shops and restaurants around the hotel and it is situated in the restored Public Market building. For a semi casual business lunch you can always visit Morgan's Central Valley Bistro. All the meeting rooms, guest rooms and business center have Internet access. Other amenities offered by the hotel are data ports, dual line speakerphones, fax, voice mail and big desks.

Embassy Suites Hotel Sacramento:

This is an all suite hotel and it is located on the banks of the Sacramento River. The state capitol, business center and Sacramento Conventional Center are just minutes away from this hotel. Data ports, high-speed Internet access, ergonomic chairs and desks, microwave and refrigerators are some of the features are the hotel provides in every two room suite. Every requirement of a business traveler like fax machines, rental of audio video equipment, copying services and meeting rooms are available. For food you can take advantage of the evening reception and complimentary cooked-to-order breakfast.

Hilton Sacramento Arden West:

This is another hotel where you can have a pleasant stay during your business trip in Sacramento. It is located five miles north east of downtown Sacramento. This hotel is in a resort style and is very popular among visitors who come to Sacramento for meetings and convention. In 1999, this hotel was renovated and all its guestrooms now have executive desks, high-speed Internet access, two telephones with data ports and private voicemail as well. The lobby area has photocopying services, teleconferencing services, fax machines and a business center. If you are staying in a suite then you can enjoy the complimentary continental breakfasts and food in evening. There is an on site restaurant called Harvard Street Grill and it features exquisite cuisine of California.
